A new 6 week course: Yoga for strength, peace and connection.
Wednesdays 6pm-7.15pm, The Fellside centre, Kendal

A yoga practice which helps to reintegrate body, breath and mind. to develop strength and ease in the body and relieve stress and tension. Suitable for all abilities, ages, backgrounds and bodies.

What makes this yoga practice different from going to the gym or a fitness class is that the movements are intended to encompass more than physicality. The class will help to increase strength and flexibility — but done in a way that also encourages useful patterns of thought and behaviour. Without struggling or straining or striving. Instead body and breath will be calm, balanced and measured without self-judgement.

We explore mindful movement, pranayama (breathing techniques), mantra/ sound and meditation for wellbeing. This is Y O U R time and space for your wellbeing, you can take part in as much or as little of the class as you like and wherever possible Nes will provide lots of options and variables to suit your body and comfort.

Block booking prices are a bit like tickets, if you buy 10 you can use those tickets come to 10 classes of your choice in that term. Block tickets to be used in the same term and can be used for any of my classes.
